When We Store Your Data
When you place an order through our site, we’ll store the personal data you enter to help us process your order and support your experience with us. We’ll keep this data for a short period of time afterwards just in case you change your mind or want to get in touch. As our payments are handled through third-party vendors, all your billing information is securely held with them and we only receive a confirmation key to confirm your date and time of transaction. The privacy policy for the vendor you use at checkout can be viewed when you proceed to their website for payment.
If you sign up for tutoring through our site, we’ll save all the messages and details you provide to help us provide our service. This data may be handled through a third-party data management tool.
If you leave a comment in response to a blog post, we’ll save the message and the details you provide. We won’t publish your email address but we will retain this for future reference. For spam-detection services, you IP address may be recorded and used by a secure antispam tool to check your comment is authentic.
We will store your data for as long as you hold an account with us or is necessary to complete your order or scheme of tutoring. If you would like to request deletion of your data, please email us at info@tamarindtutoring.co.uk.
